Allergic contact dermatitis

Allergic contact dermatitis is an allergic reaction caused by delayed hypersensitivity to an external agent, which typically appears where the contact takes place which may suggest the cause of the allergy.10 For example, a reaction underneath a watch would suggest a reaction to the metal.

Like eczema, allergic contact dermatitis is often not well demarcated.
However, it often appears on areas of body that are not commonly affected by eczema.10
